Since being ordained in the Diocese of Atlanta, the Rev. Lori M. Lowe has served several churches in that diocese, as well as in the dioceses of Maryland and Chicago. She has a background in English education before attending seminary at Emory University, Candler School of Theology. Her ministry has included service at the diocesan and national levels. She is married to the Rev. William P. (Bill) McLemore. Between them, they have six grown and married children and ten grandchildren.

Priest Associate, Retired

Bill was ordained in the Diocese of Florida after attending Virginia Theological Seminary. He served churches in Florida, (the Diocese of) Georgia, and Alabama, retiring after 30 years of active parish ministry. Bill and Lori married in 2000, and he retired in 2001. Since then, he has dedicated himself to supporting Lori’s ministry. When he’s not doing supply work (filling in for other priests) he’s a regular presence in our liturgy.

Lisa StrandbergLisa Strandberg

Administrative Assistant

Lisa is originally from Knoxville, Illinois and has a background in accounting and administrative work. She is also a piano teacher, a church organist and an avid quilter.

She lives in Crystal Lake with her husband and two children.

Julianne SundinJulianne Sundin

Organist/Choirmaster

Julie is a retired music teacher and an experienced church musician. She holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree from Illinois Wesleyan University and a Master of Music Degree from DePaul University. She and her husband, Dennis, live in Hawthorn Woods. They have two adult children and two grandchildren.

Charlie BoakCharlie Boak

Volunteer Sexton

Charlie has been a member of this parish since 1960, and in that time has served in practically every capacity, including as a vestry member and senior warden. He has taken it upon himself for several years now to regularly tend to our well-kept facilities. He can also been found serving as a Eucharistic Minister at our Sunday morning services. He and his wife Natalie raised four children here.
